If you are planning a wedding, a corporate event, non-profit fundraiser or a small celebration, Poised Events offers a variety of services.

Event Management

We focus on “day of planning”.  Not only will we be there on your day, but from the start, we will guide you through your planning with unlimited emails and phone calls from when we’re hired. We offer any needed advice and help you solve problems along the way.

We will send you a personalized calendar and helpful forms for planning your event.  Wherever you are with your planning, we will assist you with vendor recommendations and any other support needs.

Poised Events acts as the point of contact for all your vendors and will manage run the show from all angles.  We want our clients to step away and enjoy the day!

Wedding Day Coordination

From Date of Hire:

  • Emails and phone calls from date of hire. We offer any needed advice and help you solve problems along the way.
  • We will design and send you a personalized calendar for planning your wedding.

Six Weeks to One Month Prior to Wedding Day:

  • We meet six weeks to one month prior to wedding day to go over all the details. We also attend the final walk-through with your caterer.
  • We work alongside in the coordination of your wedding ceremony rehearsal and we familiarize you, your family and any others with the order of the processional, ceremony and recessional.
  • We provide detailed floor plans, which include all of your guest tables and a template to help you assign guest seating.
  • We act as a liaison between clients and vendors.

Partial Planning

  • Updated calendar of tasks and planning checklists throughout the process
  • Detailed budget planning; we help you determine what costs are involved with each vendor and the best way to allocate your funds
  • Payment schedule and reminders
  • Provide vendor options, schedule appointments and attend meetings.
  • Place orders for any rental items as needed (chairs, linens, dance floor, props, etc.)

Full Planning

  • Updated calendar of tasks and planning checklists throughout the proces
  • Detailed budget planning; we help you determine what costs are involved with each vendor and the best way to allocate your funds
  • Payment schedule and reminders
  • Assistance with selection and wording of all stationery (including invitations and save-the-dates and any custom work). We accept your RSVPS and send you updated guest attendance lists.
  • Assistance with décor and design concept along with execution
  • Provide vendor options, schedule appointments and attend meetings:
  • Place orders for any rental items as needed (chairs, linens, dance floor, props, etc.)
  • Assist with hotel blocks for your guests
  • Assist with group transportation for the clients, wedding party and/or guests
  • Assistance with Favors and Welcome Bags
  • Additional assistants on site for guest counts over 150
